1. Agreement
These Terms of Service form an agreement between the user and Glofare OÜ, operating the HighPassCV service. By creating an account or using HighPassCV, the user agrees to these terms and the Privacy Policy.
A person who does not agree with these terms should not create an account or use the service. Mandatory rights that cannot lawfully be excluded remain unaffected.

3. What HighPassCV provides
HighPassCV provides a Master Profile, destination selection, CV template selection, read-only preview, compliance warnings, and direct PDF and Word export.
The current public service provides unlimited CV creation and export without charge. Plus, Pro, Application Letters, Research Proposals, and advanced position recommendations are not available at launch and may be introduced later under updated terms.
HighPassCV does not currently provide recommendation-letter generation.
4. Accounts and eligibility
Users must provide accurate account information, keep access credentials secure, and notify HighPassCV of suspected unauthorised access.
The service is intended for users aged 16 or older. A younger user may use the service only with the involvement and permission of a parent or legal guardian where applicable law allows it.
One person should not create accounts to bypass security, abuse controls, or future usage limits.
5. CVs, destination guidance, and user responsibility
HighPassCV generates documents from information supplied by the user. Users must review every generated document, correct errors through the Master Profile, and ensure all statements are truthful and supported.
Programme-specific official instructions always take priority over HighPassCV guidance. General, baseline, or fallback guidance may require manual verification.
HighPassCV does not guarantee admission, funding, employment, interview selection, document acceptance, or a particular decision by any institution.
HighPassCV does not guarantee that any document will be classified in a particular way by plagiarism, automated screening, or AI-detection systems.
Users must not fabricate achievements, employment, grades, publications, research results, citations, references, or sources.
6. Free service and future paid features
CV creation and export are free at launch. HighPassCV does not currently collect subscription payments or payment-card information.
If paid services are introduced, the price, renewal, cancellation, refund, allowance, and tax information will be presented before purchase and the applicable legal documents will be updated.
7. User content
Users retain ownership of the information and material they submit. Users grant HighPassCV a limited, non-exclusive licence to host, process, format, and generate documents from that content only as necessary to provide and secure the service.
Users must have the right to submit the content and must not upload unlawful, infringing, misleading, malicious, or unnecessarily sensitive material.
8. Acceptable use
Users must not:
- access another person's account or data without permission;
- attempt to bypass authentication, row-level security, usage controls, or technical restrictions;
- upload malware or interfere with service availability;
- use the service for fraud, impersonation, unlawful discrimination, or deceptive applications;
- scrape, copy, resell, or systematically extract the destination catalogue or template assets without written permission;
- represent HighPassCV as affiliated with a university, employer, government authority, or admissions body.
9. HighPassCV intellectual property
The HighPassCV name, original templates, interface, software, database structure, graphics, text, and documentation are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
HighPassCV templates are original designs. Official university, government, or third-party logos and proprietary forms are not included unless permission has been obtained.
10. Third-party services and links
HighPassCV relies on infrastructure and hosting providers and may link to official university or public sources. Third-party services are governed by their own terms and privacy notices.
HighPassCV is not responsible for changes, availability, or content on external sites. Users should verify the destination and URL before relying on it.
11. Availability and changes to the service
HighPassCV may modify, improve, restrict, suspend, or discontinue features. Temporary interruption may occur because of maintenance, security incidents, provider outages, legal requirements, or events outside reasonable control.
12. Disclaimers
The service and destination guidance are provided on an “as available” basis. Guidance may be incomplete, outdated, or inapplicable to a particular call, supervisor, faculty, or programme.
HighPassCV is not a university, admissions consultant, law firm, immigration adviser, recruitment agency, or official representative of any institution.
Users remain responsible for final review, official verification, deadlines, eligibility, and submission.
13. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, HighPassCV is not liable for indirect, special, incidental, consequential, or punitive loss, or for lost admissions, employment, funding, opportunities, data, reputation, or revenue.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded or limits mandatory consumer rights.
14. Suspension, termination, and deletion
Users may stop using the service at any time and may request verified account deletion. Account Settings provide data-export controls and deletion-request instructions.
HighPassCV may suspend or terminate access where reasonably necessary to respond to misuse, protect security and users, comply with law, or address a material breach.
15. Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated when the service, business, or legal requirements change. The updated terms will show a revised effective date. Material changes may be communicated through the service or account email.
16. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of Estonia, without removing mandatory protections that apply to a consumer in another country.
Users should first contact HighPassCV so the issue can be investigated. A consumer may also use any competent court, supervisory authority, or alternative dispute resolution body available under applicable law.
